WILL INSURANCE COVER THERAPY SESSIONS?

Elizabeth is considered to be a “private pay therapist,” which means clients are responsible for payment at the time of service. While not currently on any insurance panels, Elizabeth does accept HSA cards.

WHAT DO THE LETTERS BEHIND YOUR NAME MEAN?

MAEd indicates that Elizabeth holds a Master of Arts in Education from her previous career teaching Special Education and fourth grade. T-LMFT represents Elizabeth’s training in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy. Her current licensure allows her to practice marriage and family therapy in the state of Kansas and to have membership in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs) see individuals, couples, and families.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you need to cancel an appointment, please give a minimum of 24 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee.

If 24 hours notice is not given, the client is responsible for full payment for the missed sessions. Exceptions are taken into account in the event of an emergency, or if Elizabeth is able to fill your appointment slot within the 24 hours before the appointment.

WHERE IS YOUR OFFICE LOCATED?

Elizabeth offers in person and teletherapy appointments. In person appointments are located near I-435 and Nall in Leawood, KS.
